2、 After sales business of Continental Power Transmission
At the 2016 Frankfurt Auto Parts Show in Shanghai, ContiTech's after sales business department of transmission system launched three highlight products, namely BTT Mini (portable tension measuring instrument), timing package with water pump, and product query interface. BTT Mini is a testing tool for belt tension testing during repair. The query interface of WeChat is cooperated by Continental and TecAlliance Technology. The after-sales application information of all brands of Continental, including ContiTech, can be queried on the product query interface launched by Continental's WeChat official account. The timing kit with water pump is mainly developed for repair shop. ContiTech has added water pump to the timing kit.
3、 Manhumel implements "double brands"
In the first half of 2016, Manhumel completed the acquisition of the filtration business of Aphenia, and took the Vickers and FILTRON brands under its control. Based on the positioning of MAN filter in the high-end market, Vickers filter will seize the middle end market, and the two brands will work together to expand the aftermarket territory of MAN HUMER. Vickers is the largest filter brand in North America and has a deep understanding of engine maintenance. Different from Man Brand, this brand has grown in the after-sales market, and its product research and development will give priority to the demand of the after-sales market.
